New gossip rag 'Confidencial' in its only 2nd issue (July 1957) claims Maysa aka Maysa Matarazzo copied all the notes of 'Ouça' (Listen) her greatest hit from 'Dream lover', a song written by Clifford Grey & Victor Schertzinger - first shown in the 1929 Paramount film 'The love parade' sung by Jeanette MacDonald.
'Confidencial' was sensationalist and not very accurate in its general information. Written in a venomous way it usually made up facts while on the spot.
'Confidencial' was mostly nasty in its approach. It tries to besmirch the reputation of everyone they didn't agree with. José Scatena was a perfectly law-abiding business man who was in the business of producing and recording commercial jingles for radio stations spread all over the country. He had an state-of-the-art recording studio called RGE (Radio Gravações Elétricas) which was so successful he decided to turn it into a regular label recording and releasing Maysa's first 10" album in 1956.
